The Chisholm Trail Arts Council’s CTAC Live Concert Series returns next week, and a bluegrass band is set to take the stage.
The Fretliners will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Simmons Center.
According to the Facebook event page, “The Fretliners are a genuine and powerful bluegrass quartet recognized for their songwriting and undeniable chemistry. Their newfound camaraderie produces an energy that is as infectious on stage as it is on record. With one eye on the rear-view, inspired by that traditional high lonesome sound, The Fretliners navigate a road less traveled into the peaks of Rocky Mountain original bluegrass.”
Tickets are 20 dollars each. Senior and military tickets are 20 dollars. Student tickets are 10 dollars.
Other performances in the CTAC Live series this season include Tomáseen Foley’s A Celtic Christmas on Dec. 6, Taste of Oklahoma on Feb. 7 and The Beatles Experience (by Paperback Writer) on April 19.
