Patsy Belle Jeanette Lynn, 87, was born on July 4, 1937, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Walter and Callie (Cross) Mooney. She went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Family visitation is planned for Wednesday, November 6, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 7, at Duncan Municipal Cemetery with Leonard Keele officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Rudy Green, Wade Green, Lysle Mooney, Caleb Mooney, Scottie Mooney, and Terry Russell.

Throughout her life, Patsy worked at TG&Y, Goodner’s, and as a check processor for Security National Bank which later became BancFirst. On June 6, 1953, Patsy married the love of her life, Bobby L. Lynn, and together they raised their son, Robert Wayne. Patsy and Bobby were devoted to one another for 68 years before his passing in 2022. Patsy enjoyed traveling, adored children, and loved her family. Her son Robert was her world.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby; children: Robert Wayne Lynn, an infant daughter; brothers: Rudy, Otis, Walter “Jr.”, and Wallace Mooney; and sisters: Dortha Chapman, and Lena Kennedy.

Survivors include granddaughter, Ashton Lynn; daughter-in-law, Anita Lynn; sister-in-law, Doris Mooney; and many nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
