The NEA Big Read series is back on the road and heading to the Duncan Public Library.

The library will host a talk about graphic novels and literature led by the guest speaker, Jeff Provine.

According to the Facebook event page, “Jeff Provine, a founder of Okie Comics and professor at OCCC, will be at Duncan Public Library to talk with us about graphic novels and literature as part of our NEA Big Read events in partnership with Lawton’s McMahon Auditorium Authority.”

The Duncan Public Library previously hosted an author visit with Thi Bui on Oct. 26.

Thursday’s event is free to the public and intended to explore why graphic novels are an important type of literature.
