Fall is underway and Halloween is fast approaching. Many Halloween-based events are coming up with the first one set for this weekend.
The Simmons Center’s annual Family Fall Fest is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the
Simmons Center.
The event will feature a carnival and a kid’s spook house. A costume contest is set for 2 p.m. in the west
gym. The carnival will include games and crafts, inflatables, a petting zoo, food trucks, and candy for the
children.
Entry is 5 dollars per child.
Later in the month, the Simmons Center will host its annual Terror on the Heritage Trails haunted walk.
This event will be from 8 p.m. to midnight on Oct. 25 and 26, with lines forming at the Duncan Regional
Hospital Plaza on Elk Avenue. Tickets are 20 dollars per person.
