The Toy Shop of Duncan will reopen registration for Christmas from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 2-12. On Dec. 13, registration will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Toy Shop Warehouse. The Toy Shop will be closed on Dec. 13.

During the year, the Toy Shop has raised funds through rummage sales and other activities and when the sales are completed, the volunteers take the funds to buy toys for children living in the community.

Executive Director Kim Davis said the shop has completed early registration and signed up 438 kids. To register a child, a parent or legal guardian needs to attend the registration day. The requirements for registration are the child’s first and last name, their parent’s name, their address, parents’ social security number, photo identification, and proof of residence.

When the box is ready, the parents will be called. The gifts can be picked up at the Toy Shop at 111 S. 9th Street.

On Dec. 8, the annual toy run will take place.
