The Main Street Duncan organization is encouraging people to shop local this holiday season, and this Saturday is a prime example of this.

The annual Holiday Stroll is scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the various businesses on Main Street in Duncan.

According to a post on the Main Street Duncan Facebook page, “Our Holiday Stroll is the best way to shop local for the holidays! Stroll down Main Street and check out all of the PERFECT finds this Holiday Season!”

This event typically takes place the Saturday before Thanksgiving, although this year is an exception to the rule.

The event gives focus to the stores along Main Street, as the holiday season launches.
According to the Main Street Duncan website, “You’ll definitely want to visit downtown Duncan and #shoplocal as the restaurants, boutiques, and storefronts that are offering new merchandise, discounts, gift with purchase and more! Each store has something special and will vary in specials and selections. We look forward to seeing you all downtown for the Holiday Stroll!”
