Wynona “Nonie” Susan Brown, of Marlow, was born November 26, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas to Robert “Pat” Earl and Dora Lee (Gilmore) Sullivan. She passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, in Oklahoma City. She was 74.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, November 12, between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. at Whitt Funeral Home. Funeral services are planned for Wednesday, November 13, at 1:00 p.m. at Ray of Hope Church, with Senior Pastor Mike McCord officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Tadd Crowson, Gerard Dodson, Cord Dodson, Junior Alvarez, Chad Davis, and Kevin Thomason.

Nonie married Gary Brown on July 6, 2006, in Duncan. She worked at Halliburton for 24 years in the Accounts Payable Department and then for 30 years worked as a CNA in home health. Her love language was taking care of people. She loved to cook and enjoyed taking care of her lawn and flower gardens. She was a good, caring person who dearly loved her entire family.

Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sharon D. Thomason, Nonie is survived by her husband, Gary; children and their spouses: Tadd and Stacie Crowson of Comanche and Christy and Gerard Dodson of Cyril; and four grandchildren: Zana Crowson, Morgan Dodson, Cord Dodson and Zoie Crowson. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Hazel Sullivan of Comanche.
