JoAnna Jane Trone, 91, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away on October 24, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones after living a long and fulfilling life. JoAnna was born on April 4, 1933, to James and Iva Parks in Abilene, Kansas.

On August 10, 1951, she married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life John “Jack” Trone. Together, they raised their children, John David, Jean, Jennifer, and Jackie. JoAnna enjoyed doing her own yard work, working puzzles, and reading her Bible. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Taking care of her loved ones brought her the greatest joy. As an Army wife, she lived in Germany and Panama and got to travel the world.

JoAnna was preceded in death by her father and mother, James and Iva Parks; husband, John “Jack” Trone; daughter, Jackie Trone; son, John David Trone; sister, Rose Merle Cunningham; and her brother, James Parks Jr.
