“Venom: The Last Dance” is a comic book film starring Tom Hardy and is directed by Kelly Marcel. It
is the third and reportedly final “Venom” film. I walked into this movie with cautious optimism, hoping that I would like this film, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Tom Hardy is still great as Venom and the action sequences are pretty cool. I also really liked the ending.

However, that’s where the positives end. The goofiness factor is dialed up to 11 here and is beyond intolerable. I loved the first two “Venom” films, but their goofiness was nowhere near the level that this film had.

Cringeworthy humor and mediocre special effects made this film an absolute chore to watch. The story is a horrible mess and barely coherent. It is easily the worst of the three. I was very disappointed.

2/5 Stars. Not Recommended.
