Halloween is Thursday, and the Duncan Public Library is ready for any of its younger, costumed patrons who might stop by.

The library is hosting its annual Cart-o-Treat event from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday. The library will also host early trick-or-treating at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

According to the library’s Facebook event page, “The Duncan Public Library’s hosting a Dress Up Storytime on Halloween followed by trick-or-treating at the library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.! Everyone is welcome to dress up and visit different Clue-themed carts around the library while trick-or-treating!”
This is one of several events the library scheduled for October that fit the spooky season. Others include Horror Trivia and a blood drive, both of which took place midway through the month.

A craft, making beaded spider wreaths, was scheduled for Monday but was canceled because of a schedule change. The library will reschedule.
