Brian Keith Wood was born on March 4, 1964, in Ada, Oklahoma to Raymond Wood and Barbara (Myers) Wood-Tilly. He went to be with his Lord and Savior at his home in Duncan on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the age of 60.

A graveside service is planned for 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 16, 2024, at Duncan Municipal Cemetery with Walker Battiest officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Brian was a longtime resident of Duncan. Throughout his life, he worked as an audio engineer and had worked as a roughneck in the oilfield. He also owned and operated a convenience store in Wichita Falls, Texas at one time. When he wasn’t working, Brian enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle. He was a gun enthusiast and loved to take part in marksmanship competitions. Brian also loved to read the Bible and spent many hours studying the Word. He loved his dogs: Sister, Queenie, and Bubba, who were his constant companions, and enjoyed taking them for rides in his truck.

Preceded in death by his father, Raymond, and mother and step-father, Barbara and Faron Tilly, Brian is survived by his brother, Michael Wood (Tina) of Duncan; sisters: Cindee Wood-Sweet and husband Mark of Austin, TX, Debbie (Brassfield) Beene and husband Sidney of Moore, OK; nephew, Skip Ludwick and wife Laura; great niece and nephew, Ashlynn and Kye, along with other nephews, and the Sellers and Seeley families.
