Brenda Michelle (Copeland) Hood was born May 1, 1970, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Tommy and Linda (Smith) Copeland. She passed away in Duncan Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the age of 54.
A memorial service is planned for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 17, at Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Brenda was a graduate of Duncan High School. On May 23, 1996, she married the love of her life, Clifford Hood, and together they raised their children, Devon and Kimberly. Brenda enjoyed watching crime shows on television, but most of all she loved caring for her husband and helping him. Her family brought her the most joy, and she loved to spend time with them, especially her grandson. She will be deeply missed but will be remembered as a devoted wife loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford; children: Devon Hood, Kimberly Hood; grandson, Christopher Wyatt Perkins all of Duncan, OK; and sister, Patricia Copeland of Oklahoma City, OK.
