DUNCAN – The United Way of Stephens County has launched its 2024-2025 fundraising campaign
with an ambitious goal of raising $250,000 to support local agencies that provide essential services to the community. The campaign’s focus is on “Making a Difference, Right Here at Home,” with donations, volunteering, and advocacy being the core pillars for community support.
The funds raised during this campaign will be allocated to 15 nonprofit agencies throughout Stephens
County, providing them with the resources they need to continue their impactful work after the allocation process is complete.
Board President Floyd Wininger emphasized the local impact of the campaign, stating, “I have never
before worked with any organization that made such a huge footprint of impact on a community than United Way. Donating to support this New Generations Drive campaign will ensure that life is better in Stephens County because it sends the gift of loving help to our fellow citizens to make that possible.”
The United Way of Stephens County has a rich history of supporting organizations that deliver critical
services, from health and education to financial stability and basic needs. This year, they are also working to advance their digital outreach through social media and an updated website.
