On behalf of the Arvest Foundation, Arvest Bank associates presented a $5,000 grant to the Stephens County Humane Society. This grant provides funds that will be used for food, medical care, and shelter.

Hal Labyer (Arvest Community Bank President), Chris Toomey (Mortgage Manager), and Craig Taliaferro (Commercial Leader) presented the check to Kelly Nelson, the shelter’s Executive Director, as well as board members, staff, and volunteers.

Nelson said these funds will support the continuing care and welfare of the animals inside the shelter. “These generous funds will have a transformative impact,” Nelson said, “helping us to continue our mission of saving lives and ensuring every animal gets the love and care they deserve. We are truly grateful for the support of our community.”
