The Duncan Public Library will host an author visit this coming Saturday.

Author Thi Bui is slated to visit the library at 11 a.m. Saturday, as part of the NEA Big Read program.

The NEA Big Read kicked off on Oct. 12 at the Museum of the Great Plains in Lawton. The Big Read book is Bui’s “The Best We Could Do.”

According to the Duncan Public Library Facebook page, “Duncan has some copies of ‘The Best We Could Do’ by Thi Bui that you can pick up. Don’t forget to grab your copy to read before the author herself visits DPL on Saturday.”

The library’s copies of the book are free to the first patrons to ask for one.
