Duncan High School Freshman Alexander Zendejas has been nominated to join the Oklahoma Ambassadors of Music on their 2025 European Tour. The tour will include England, France, Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform across Europe in various historical and cultural hotspots will allow Alexander to represent not only Oklahoma but also his hometown of Duncan.
Alexander is seeking financial support to take advantage of the opportunity. The tour will require him to raise about $8,000 for the trip according to his mother, Alesha. Costs to participate include various fees for obtaining a passport and a required camp along with travel expenses. He also asks for prayers for safe travels.
Alexander, 14, is a member of Ray of Hope Church. He began playing trombone in 6th grade and has a love for music. He was a part of the 2024 SWOBDA All-Region Honor Band and is a member of the 2024-2025 Duncan Demons Marching Band. He participated in the Chisholm Trail Municipal Band this summer. “I am focusing my studies to pursue my aspiration to study law and become an attorney,’ said Alexander.
