Duncan Little Theatre is launching a new program for middle school and high school students.
The non-profit organization will host its Junior Stagecraft Academy and will have meetings once a month.
According to the Duncan Little Theatre’s Facebook page, “DLT’s Junior Stagecraft Academy hopes to inspire a new wave of theater professionals who will lead our community with innovation, integrity, and a profound commitment to the arts. We aim to empower kids with skills, creativity, and confidence through inclusivity in a supportive environment.
“We offer real-world opportunities covering all production aspects to cultivate a deep, holistic understanding of theater. We seek to equip our participants with not only technical skills but also the ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and collaborate with others.”
Registration for the Junior Stagecraft Academy can be done online.
The first monthly meeting will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 30.
